Applications – Why Nitrogen Compression?

1. Laser Cutting

Nitrogen acts as a protective gas during laser cutting. Medium-pressure nitrogen blows away oxygen, prevents oxidation of metal cuts under high temperature, and improves cutting surface cleanliness and appearance.

2. Nitrogen Storage

PSA nitrogen generators typically output pressure ≤10 barg. When excess capacity exists or when using off-peak electricity for nighttime filling, nitrogen compression becomes economical. The compressor pressurizes nitrogen to 200-300 kg for storage in high-pressure cylinders (each cylinder holds approximately 10 m³ of nitrogen).
